Every once in a while I get a composition idea or theme stuck in my head. Sometimes I'm able to work out the idea in a painting quickly, other times it takes several attempts to get the idea out of my head and onto a canvas. This painting is one of my attempts to work out this idea I have thought about for about 2 weeks now. This is actually the second variation at this theme, the last one was a landscape painting. I still haven't gotten the idea out of my head yet, but it's been fun exploring it.
